Back in October I talked about how we got our ticket order in for the 2010 Winter Olympics.  Well....We were notified yesterday that we only were awarded one event.  The Luge.  We're all pretty disappointed.  It's not that we don't want to see the Luge but it's that we wanted to see a number of events, not just one.

So now what do we do?  Do we sell these tickets?  Do we try to by other events on Ebay?  (Up to $7K for Hockey tickets not that it was what we wanted to see)  My Brother in Law lives in Seattle as was going to go with us.  We'll still go visit him during that time but I doubt we'll do a 4-5 hour drive to Vancouver just for one event.

Just call us Bummed in Chicago.

Do you have your Olympic Ticket order in yet?  We placed ours a couple of weeks ago for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.  We requested Luge, Snowcross Snowboard, a Hockey game and Short Track skating.  We can't wait!

I'm taking a posting break during the Olympics.  We've been glued to the TV since they started and I don't think I'll be catching things up here.

Yeah!  The Olympics are coming!  No, not the Summer but the Winter Olympics.  Our family is really into the Winter Olympics so we've been patiently waiting for this information.

The date you need to know?  October 3.  That's when the tickets go on sale.  Not sure what we'll want to see yet, but we have a few months to think about it.

The countdown to the first day of ticket sales for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games is on! 1.6 million tickets for the Olympic Winter Games go on sale in October 2008 and 250,000 Paralympic Winter Games tickets will be available in 2009.

How cool is this.  You can win a chance to carry the torch for the 2008 Summer Olympics.  I know, I've already carried the flame once for the 2002 Olympics, but to do it again?  Hmmmm.
